The Holbrooke Hotel

A solo trip up North to Grass Valley, CA. A charming little town near Sacramento that I had no idea existed before my stay here and I'm so bummed I didn't know about it sooner. I stayed at the Holbrooke Hotel the most beautiful hotel in town where every room is uniquely designed and loaded with so much history. This hotel has recently been renovated and it's so gorgeous inside and out. as charming as the town is you'll want to spend your entire exploring the space the history of it, the interior design and the room.

I was fortunate to have stayed in the Presidential Suite - it's rumored that five US Presidents have stayed in this room:

Harrison, Grant, Cleveland, Garfield, and Hoover.

It's a large suite with an expansive balcony overlooking the town of Grass Valley. It's got a spacious living area, King-size bed, and a bathroom bigger than most rooms with both a tub and walk in shower.

It was not only one of the best stays of 2022 it's one of the best stays of my life. Up until the next day when I stayed at the sister property The National Hotel in Nevada City just twenty minutes away - Another beautiful property.
