Metro Los Angeles and Gogobot Los Angeles a travel review site and app teamed up to bring Gogobotters: the top reviewers on Gogobot to the Soul of Crenshaw. This all to promote the new Metro line that will be running along Crenshaw in 2019 and highlight the great businesses in the area.
Our Visit was to Dulan's on Crenshaw a Soul food restaurant that comes from the same family that brought us the very famous but now closed Aunt Kizzy's in Marina Del Rey. When this Metro line is all finished there will be a stop right in front Dulan's. Lucky for you cause when you're done eating here you won't want to walk far to hop back on the metro line just a few short waddles to the station.
Gogobotters lined up cafeteria style with smiles on their faces to enjoy the delicious Soul food that Dulan's had to offer everything from baked fish to fried chicken, meatloaf, short ribs and an array of side dishes: Mac & Cheese , collard greens , black eyed peas, yams, and corn & okra. It was plate after plate of stick to your rib goodness complete with dessert. Meals were enjoyed in the newly unveiled patio seating. The new patio has plenty of outdoor seating to soak up the L.A. sun and enjoy the view. I am told they will be adding an additional patio right next to the new one where they will be serving up their new Sunday Brunch Menu. Can't wait for that!
