Last Sunday night was the first annual L.A. Travel Magazine: Taste of the World, held at Madera Kitchen on Cahuenga in Hollywood. It was a gathering of some of L.A.'s finest restaurants and catering companies. The event was a small event but the quality of food and entertainment was big. Food, wine, paletas (popsicles) in champagne, dancers and even prizes for getaways were part of the fun! Your admission to the event got you a ticket into the drawing and VIP tickets got you 5 entries and a swag bag. There was even a competition between the participating restaurants for the best dish of the night and the prize went to Yellow Tomato Catering of Pasadena California who served their Yum Yums and Kale Salad it was nothing but YUMMY! The Yum Yums were pillow soft bites of sweet potato heaven!
